Here's a shock that changed how I look at Costume Jewellery forever. I love Costume Jewellery, shiny, blinking, glittering; it memorizes me. But for all the Jewel Qualities I admire and enjoy, I always had something in the back of my brain that associated Costume Jewellery with cheap. You probably know what I mean ... right?
Well, all that changed when I started researching Costume Jewellery Collections owned by Hollywood Stars.
Did you know that designers such as Swarovski, Christian Dior, Coco Chanel and Tiffany are just a few of the household names who have created costume jewellery pieces?
Take a look at this hand picked list of Hollywood Star Costume Jewellery collections.

Kenneth Jay Lane a famous American costume jewelry designer, has since the 1960s been known for creating unique pieces for Jackie Onassis, Elizabeth Taylor, Diana Vreeland, and Audrey Hepburn. More often, in every day life you will see costume jewllery being more popular than fine jewellery. It is not that fine jewellery is out of fashion in any way, but if anyone wants jewellery for everyday, every wear and every event, this will not be viable with fine jewellery. It doesn’t offer the designs of costume jewellery, the colors, nor the prices to collect and wear so many pieces of jewellery.
Costume jewellery was initially made to provide common people with jewellery when they couldn’t afford fine jewellery. Today costume jewellery is preferred by some of the most famous and wealthy celebrities.
With that said, today there are also pieces of costume jewellery designs that exceed the price of a regular fine jewellery piece. Isn’t that ironical in so many ways?
Costume jewellery has made its’ way into the homes and fashion of some of the most famous people.
The good news is that costume jewellery unlike fine jewellery is still by far the most affordable jewellery for anyone to buy.
If you look around the JewelleryForSale.co.za website, check the designs and the prices you will see and understand why costume jewellery is so easily affordable that every lady wants to own as many items as possible to have for every day wear. It is not outrageous or even exaggerated to find a lady that has a costume jewellery piece to wear for every day of the year.
And who knows if you keep your costume jewellery in good condition for long enough, one day you may find you have a collectable item worth more than a regular fine jewellery item.
