What are my payment options? |

Orders can be placed online using Visa, MasterCard and Direct Deposit (EFT). We do not accept cheques. Please note that all orders by Direct Deposit (EFT) be shipped upon receipt of payment.

Do you have a minimum order requirement? |
|
Jewellery For Sale has no minimum-order requirement for most of our products. There are some exceptions, please check the product information pages.

How do I place an order online? |
|
Ordering is easy and convenient! Simply register to our website. We will send you an activation message by email. Click the link in the message to verify your email and that it is you who wants to create a user account. Then login using the username and password you entered on registration. Now you can select your favorite items, add them to your shopping cart and click "check out" for your order total. Proceed with the checkout process until you reach the "payment options " screen.

How do I check the status of my order? |
|
You have several options for tracking your order:
- Login and go to your Account Administration panel. There you will be able to tell whether the product has shipped or not.
- You will also find a tracking number that you can input into one of our shipping partners.

Will I get an email confirmation after I place my order? |
|
Yes you will receive email confirmation and progress emails as your order changes status. First as you place your order, then once your order is confirmed and then when your order is shipped. You will also receive email messages if your order is refunded or cancelled.

How do I change or cancel my order? |
|
You can only change your order before it is shipped by contacting our service desk on 087 808 2382. Once your order is shipped you will need to take receipt of the package and then request cancellation. You can cancel your order within two weeks after we have received it.
You can return new, unopened items from a cancelled order within 2
weeks after they have been delivered to you. Items should be returned
in their original packaging.
Please note that an exchange is not the same as a cancellation or a return resulting from damaged product.

Are online transactions on your site secure? |
|
Your credit card transaction is not processed on our website but is processed by Virtual Card Services, one of the largest online credit card switching companies in South Africa and recommended by major banks.
This means that we do not store any of your credit card information on our website or computer systems, instead this is the job of Virtual Card Services who has the security and processes required to handle this information in a manner that is acceptable to the banks. When processing your transaction is secured using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology. Virtual Card Services use SSL technology to prevent your information from being intercepted and read as it is transmitted over the Internet. |

How do you use my contact information? |
|
We request your email address so that we can email you an order confirmation. We request your phone number to contact you in case we need to give you an order update. Rest assured, we never rent or sell your contact information to anybody, for anything. We may email you promotions and other relevant information or products from time-to-time, always with the option for you to unsubscribe.

Our shipping model is easy to understand! Processing time (pulling and packaging your order) plus shipping time equals delivery time. Each order is processed within three-to-five business days. Our "item details" provide additional information on delivery times, so be sure to check before ordering.
To offer you the widest selection of high-quality and unique products, we use additional vendors for some of the items on our Web site. Because shipping may vary depending on the vendor, please see "item details" for delivery times. Please note that, in some cases, you may receive multiple packages.
As a general rule of thumb, items marked as 7-Days Delivery are items we physically have in stock and can therfore ship more immediately to you. Items marked as 14-Days Delivery are items in our catalog for which we currently do not have stock on hand. For such items we must order in minimum quanities from our vendors before we can ship to you.

Yes, we do ship goods to Post Office Boxes. We also ship to Post Office Counters and Door-to-Door.

What happens if my order does not arrive? |
|
If your order does not arrive please contact our customer service desk by email. Please provide your order number in your communication and we will follow-up the shipment for you.
If our shipping partners confirm that the shippment has gone missing, we will immediately despatch a new package to you and place a claim with the shipping company.

Do you ship internationally? |
|
Not yet. We would like to but need to put process and pricing in place to offer this service. At present we only ship inside South Africa.

How is shipping calculated? |
|
Shipping is calculated during checkout and is based on the shipping method, weight of the items you selected and the shipping destination.

What are your shipping options? |
|
We offer 3 shipping options:
- Econo Parcel which takes 3 - 5 working days to arrive with you.
- Speed Services to a Post Office Counter near you in 1 - 2 working days.
- Speed Services Door-to-Door in 1 - 2 working days.

Will the items on my order ship together or seperately? |
|
In order to offer our customers the widest and most unique selection, some items may ship separately. You will not be billed for each shipment – only one shipping charge will be added.

What is your return and exchange policy? |
|
We pride ourselves on carrying high-quality items, and we hope that you will be pleased with your order. When you receive your order, please inspect it carefully to verify that all items meet your expectations. If, for some reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact our customer-care consultants at 087 808 2382 for a return authorization within 14-days of receipt. Please note, your return authorization number will expire 30 days after issuance.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE: The customer is responsible for shipping. We do not refund shipping charges. No credit is given for lost return packages and nonreturnable items returned to us will not be shipped back to the sender nor credited to their account. We do strongly recommend that you use a shipper with a traceable shipping method as we cannot be responsible for damaged or lost return packages.

How long before I receive my refund? |
|
After we receive your package and inspect the items, you will receive an email confirming credit total. Credit will be issued in 3 to 5 business days. Please allow adequate time for your banking institution to process the credit. Refunds are made using the method by which payment was received.

Do you charge restocking fee? |
|
Orders returned within 14-days of receipt will not be charged a
restocking fee. Items received after 14-days may be subject to a
restocking fee.

What if I got my order but items are damaged? |
|
Please inspect all items carefully when you receive your order. If
there's any damage, please call our customer-care department at 087 808 2382 at your earliest convenience, but no later than 7 days
after the package was delivered. A customer-care specialist will help
you file a claim and advise you about replacement.

How long is a piece of string? The amount of time that an item of jewellery will last is completely dependent on the owner, should you take care of your jewellery and remove your jewellery while doing labour intensive work or while using household cleaners and hand creams, etc. there is no reason why you could not get at least two years of enjoyment from your new costume or fashion jewellery item.

Will costume and fashion jewellery change colour? |

Costume and fashion Jewellery that is plated with real 14k gold and rhodium will not change color. While these elements can not change colour they are susceptible to fair wear and tear and it is possible that over a long period of time the bass metal which is brass might get exposed on hard wearing areas and so will be seen, but it is worth mentioning that it is not that noticeable.
Some costume and fashion jewellery is not gold or rhodium plated. These items may tarnish. Normally this is part of the design and is made this way in order to create that aged effect that comes with really old "real" jewellery items.
